Those crazy Egyptians!
Those of you who know me well know I'm Ancient Egypt crazy and spent my early elementary all the way into my teen years, absolutely adoring ancient egypt and consuming whatever information I could get my hands on. I'd be an expert if I had a degree... anyway, the above article I read today was just a little piece of interesting info. A mummy from between 1000 and 600BC is believed to have the first working prosthectic known to man.. a prosthetic big toe! Man ancient egypt rocks.
